Interesting question, because it's not just many, many, many unknown normal people
moving quietly making gobs of money...
Many celebrities like superstar fighter Conor McGregor, legendary film director Martin Scorsese, comedian Steve Martin, NBA player Stephen Curry, electronic DJ and producer Deadmau5 (just to name a few) have jumped on the bandwagon of selling courses.
You definitely don't need to be a celebrity (I'm not!) to sell online courses and MOST people making selling courses aren't famous in any sense, but this just goes to show that EVERYONE who makes any money at all sees this massive market that's only growing and are jumping in... while the getting in is good.
Why shouldn't you too get your piece of the MULTI-BILLION dollar course market pie?
Is making money quite literally while you sleep, or sail, or workout, or vacation to exotic locations, not 'cool'?
Lol, to me it's pretty damn cool because it's given me and many of my students tons of FREEDOM!
Here's some picture proof of these living legends who are leveraging the internet to make MORE money selling their own online video courses...
